Halloween Witches Brew 4x4

We did a swap in my art group and it was a 4x4 titled Witches Brew. This is the card that I made for it. Notice the little shrink plastic spider at the bottom left side of the card.

Another bracelet - I'm hooked!!

I just love making these bracelets, this one has a pale lavender swarvoski crystal bicone bead in it and I used a lobster clasp on the end rather than the toggle.

Bracelet I made from jumprings and crystals

I took a class at our local Potomac Bead store in Downtown Fort Myers and made this beautiful bracelet made of jump rings and swarvoski crystals. I really enjoyed the class and have already started a second bracelet.

More quick and easy cards

I did another batch of quick and easy cards. These are such fun, quick and easy to do. Nice to have in a snap when you need a card for someone at the last minute. My local stamping store Bettys Stamp Pad has them each month and I really enjoy doing them.

Stair Step Card

I love the concept of this card... Doing images on the 3 fronts make the card look 3 dimensional. Just love it!

Quick and Easy Cards

I have been making some quick and easy cards for a gift for someone. I'm making them a box and will have all types of greeting cards handmade by me inside to use on holidays and other occassions.

The story begins on my Weight Loss Journey

http://www.news-press.com/article/20081007/HEALTH/810070312/1013

A few of my blogging friends asked me to start posting my weight loss journey, it won't be overwhelming, my art is still my passion and what will hopefully keep my mind occupied after surgery to help me succeed. This is the article that came out Tuesday and when my surgery date gets set, the News Press is going with me to the hospital in Hollywood, FL and following me through to the end when I reach my goal. Will post those as they come out.

Thanks to everyone that is supporting me mentally and those that have financially helped me towards my surgery. I appreciate it more than you can ever know.

Metallic Stone technique Oriental card

Oriental/Asian theme is one of my very favorites and a dear friend let me borrow her stamp here and I made this beautiful card using a technique I learned from Technique Junkies called Metallic Stone.
